When appointed Bilfinger Uk Services Lead you will be responsible for the oversight for the overall delivery of all front-line management and supervisory associated with Scaffolding and Fabric maintenance services in support of the ETAP Seagull Host project.
You will ensure the safe, efficient and effective execution of all work scopes against all regulatory, company and client procedures, processes and laws. You will ensure that all key interfaces between Bilfinger UK and Client’s management are developed and maintained to encourage effective working relationships and to provide efficient, cost effective support for all platform services, ensuring compliance with competency and training requirements.
As the Bilfinger Salamis Services Lead, you will be required to provide assistance to all Murlach management and Bilfinger UK supervision with the below mentioned tasks.
Main responsibilities
• Coach and mentor all Bilfinger UK personnel in relevant HSEQ and operational processes and procedures associated with the tasks. This will include Scaffolding, Fabric maintenance and other services as required.
• Effectively organise and ensure planning of all Bilfinger UK activities are completed in the most effective manner, ensuring that all risks are identified and minimised to ALARP.
• Ensuring all safe working practices, behaviours and expectations are promoted in line with bp and Bilfinger UK safety cultures.
• Ensure that all work scopes are executed and recorded in accordance with legislation, client and company procedures.
• Fully support all client and company initiatives (mates in mind, line of fire etc)
• Ensure all site workforce meet the requirements of client and company HSEQ responsibilities and expectations
• Support Bilfinger UK supervision and Client management as required.
• Align the service team’s goals to Client/Bilfinger UK business drivers, and manage the team(s) accordingly.
• Carry out offshore surveys and prepare (or validate) estimates where required
• Identify any required scaffold designs and provide sufficient detail to scaffold design team to allow design preparation
• Attend all required constructability reviews as required to ensure safe and efficient means of work-scopes implementation
• Ensure Bilfinger UK scope meets with BP Work Readiness Assurance and Daily Work Assignment procedure gate requirements
• To review & agree schedule with the Bilfinger UK project team and Wood Construction Engineer, including any subcontractor activities
• To provide or support Bilfinger UK project team in the preparation of cost and progress reports
• Identify and notify the Bilfinger UK project team and Wood Construction Engineer of any project growth or change and ensure that any variations are authorised before execution
• To identify any project risk areas, advise and agree appropriate solutions the Bilfinger UK project team and Wood Construction Engineer to eliminate or minimise impact to project
• To ensure that all work is delivered to the required standard in accordance to company BMS, adhering to all procedures, drawings, specifications, workpacks and any identified requirements
• Record and communicate operational difficulties, ensuring that solutions are found and implemented as required.
• Proactively identify and rectify any operational shortfalls in process, procedures and resources on board asset.
• Ensure that all reports and paperwork are completed as per client and company processes and procedures
Qualifications and Experience
• All general offshore certificates
• Strong knowledge of all FM services e.g. Scaffolding, FABM & other services
• Rope Access awareness
• Experience in a similar role
• Strong PC skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office required, primarily Excel.
