MANN+HUMMEL Corporate Venture Capital invests in venture-stage companies with strategic complements to the core of the business in the mobility, life science, and environment segments. We focus on opportunities in new mobility, advanced materials, clean air, water, and liquids processing, IoT and other fields relevant for our core businesses, customers, and beyond.
We are seeking an intern to work on a variety of tasks ranging from streamlining how we source and evaluate investments candidates to conducting research on different market and technology areas. If you are strong in a technical or business field, interested in a diversity of other technologies and want to learn how the venture business works, this internship is for you
− Work with the Corporate Venture Capital Team on deal sourcing, joint projects with business units, and diligence processes
− Participate in market, business model, and technical research and specific diligence for investment candidates with other ventures team members
− Identify and attend relevant accelerator, university, or industry conference pitch sessions to scout technology and source venture investment candidates
− Actively pursuing bachelors and/or master’s degree in an economics, engineering, or business-related fiel
− Current GPA 3.5 or better
− Skills with PowerPoint, Excel, as well as web-based platforms such as Trello, Confluence
− Entrepreneurial mindset/skills, desire to learn about venture-stage businesses
− Creativeness and ability to generate new ideas and recognize business opportunities
− Openness and good communication skills, along with the ability to work in flexible team structures adapting to project, strategic, and corporate targets
− Experience with startups and entrepreneurship a plus
