As an Acoustic Engineer, you will conduct acoustic tests and tasks for various products across different groups, ensuring compliance with M+H technical standards and customer requirements.
Main Tasks
Conduct acoustic tests and tasks for different products, providing technical support to design teams
Analyze customer inputs to optimize acoustic solutions, correlating test results with FEA analysis
Lead the design and development of acoustic solutions for filtration products, ensuring optimal sound and vibration control
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acoustical considerations into the overall product design process
Conduct sound and vibration testing using specialized equipment, interpreting results, and recommending design improvements
Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance product acoustical performance
Conduct acoustic analyses on engineering proposals, considering packaging, manufacturing constraints, and customer requirements
Ensure filtration products comply with relevant industry standards and regulations related to noise emissions
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and research findings related to acoustics
Foster ongoing relationships with key customers' engineering teams to understand future products and technology plans
Your Profile
Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Acoustical Engineering
Minimum of two years of experience in acoustic analysis and simulation in air induction systems or powertrain applications
Required Skills:
Proficiency in CAE and Acoustic Testing software (e.g., SimCenter 3D, GT-Power, Müller-BBM PAK, Head Acoustics Artemis, Abaqus, ANSA, Catia, and Unigraphics)
Effective communication skills for interaction with employees at all levels
Completion of relevant training programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Proven track record of project management and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends
Experience with automotive or industrial filtration systems and related acoustical challenges
Track record of proposing and implementing innovative solutions to improve acoustical performance
