The position

As a Field Market Access Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving market access and patient access for Novo Nordisk's portfolio of medicines within the local health economies of Cheshire and Merseyside ICS area, ideally you live and work in this location, also covering Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent Integrated Care System (ICS).  Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute national market access strategies and pull-through plans.
  • Shaping the local healthcare environment through the development and implementation of integrated care pathways.
  • Engaging with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to drive change and improve diabetes services.
  • Influencing key healthcare policymakers to demonstrate the value of Novo Nordisk's products and services.
  • Demonstrating outcomes and value based on local healthcare needs and aligning with NHS policies and targets.

Additionally, you will be working closely with internal stakeholders and external NHS partners, you will lead efforts to secure formulary positioning and implement integrated care pathways to address the evolving challenges faced by healthcare providers.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • Business or Science degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience in market access or payer-facing roles within the pharmaceutical industry, working with promotional and non-promotional materials.
  • Track record of collaborating with NHS partners to redesign healthcare services and understanding of national and regional NHS policies and their application to local health economies. 
  • Valid driving license.

You should also be someone proactive, confident and that likes to express their ideas while being a great team player.

 

About the department

The Market Access department is made up of experts in Health Economics, Patient Outcomes and Market Access.  The department is often the first to launch new products globally or regionally within Europe and has a proven track record in successful product launches.  Working in an innovative operating model the NHS Partnership team is responsible for securing and maintaining market and patient access for both inline and newly launched products.  The team is field based and covers the whole of the UK.
