The role
As a Weapons Systems Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll have the opportunity to support the team undertaking defect rectification, repair, overhaul and operational support on a wide range of weapon systems and naval equipment in support of the Royal Navy.
Day-to-day, you’ll be the technical lead in set to work and installation/maintenance activities. Primarily improving the 4.5-Medium Calibre Gun (MCG) naval weapons system but will also support a wide portfolio of best-in-class intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance solution, communications and weapons launch and handling solutions.
This role is full time, 35-hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard. You must be able to work away from site at short notice.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
