The role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will have a dynamic role allowing you to bring an inquiring mindset and be confident to challenge existing approaches. The work environment within the Design Authority is varied so you will need to be adaptable but with this comes excellent development opportunities and plenty of support from the Design Authority team.
Day to day, you’ll provide professional technical assistance and advice to support ongoing operational availability and maintenance. Supporting the Facility Design Authority, you will be key in the development of new designs and facility modifications. This will involve a variety of mechanical engineering equipment within the facility, with an emphasis on mechanical / fuel handling assets.

This role is Hybrid with the expectation to be onsite 2 days per week at our Devonport site.
Qualifications for the Senior Mechanical Engineer:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
