The role
As a Senior Plant Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This role will allow Babcock to support the MOD Nuclear Submarine provision by ensuring they have safe and nuclear compliant facilities and appropriately managing the radiological inventory.
Day to day, you’ll be key in supporting the nuclear and radiological safety of operations around the facilities and interfaces with the production, design and technical teams to support implementation of engineering, process controls and safety cases.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home, based at Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
