The role
As a Physicist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will join a team that has unrivalled expertise in Radiometric Characterisation and Nuclear Material Assay that is focussed on providing innovative solutions for our customers across the full nuclear lifecycle. You will provide key technical leadership to solve problems that will help to progress the UK’s decommissioning programme safely and effectively, transforming some of the biggest technical challenges into some of the best solutions.
Day to day, you’ll provide specialist characterisation advice and consultancy services during the design, operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities, through the application of a wide range of radiometric techniques such as Gamma Imaging, Gamma Spectrometry and Neutron Counting.
This is a full-time role with 37 hours per week based on the Sellafield Site, Cumbria with hybrid working arrangements.
