The Role
As a Financial Accountant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Sitting within the Babcock Central Accounting team, in the newly formed Finance Business Services department (FBS). The function includes inter company, balance sheet and fixed and lease asset accounting, journals and support to indirect taxes and will deliver common processes through process simplification, continuous improvement and the integration of systems.
Day to day, you’ll be supporting the standardisation and optimisation of finance processes and controls across Babcock Finance, with particular focus on journal and Balance Sheet processes; all whilst deputising for the Finance Manager and supporting with coaching and development of other team members:
This role is a full-time position that is contracted at 37.5 hours a week and can be based at either our: Bristol, Plymouth or Leicester sites with hybrid working from home arrangements.
