The role
As a Completions Manager your role will be to develop and manage the completions strategy for all work packages associated with the Successor Project scope of works. You’ll also develop and maintain a Completions Management System (CMS) covering all work packages within the project as well as develop and maintain Inspection & Test Reports (ITR’s) required to support the CMS.
Day to day, you’ll:
• Manage the CMS to drive completion and hand over of work packages to the customer.
• Hold regular ‘Burndown’ meetings with the customer to expedite the closure of open liabilities.
• Manage the Certification handover and approval process.
• Collaborate with project delivery functions to actively drive completions progress to meet project delivery deadlines.
• Collaborate with project delivery functions to co-ordinate the closure of Non-Conformances, Vendor Information Requests (VIR’s) and punch-list activities.
• Ensure effective liaison and training for all other stakeholders using the Completions Management System
This role is full time 37hrs/week and will be based at Rosyth site Monday to Friday. Due to international customer and project delivery schedule there is a requirement to attend meetings out with the standard working week.
Essential experience of the Completions Manager:
• Proven knowledge of Completion Systems and processes
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong communication / people skills
• Proactive but with the ability to react quickly when necessary to meet challenging objectives.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
Qualifications of the Completions Manager:
• As a minimum, have an HNC in a relevant engineering subject.
• Proven experience in completions management processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Completions Management software (preferably Co-Console).
• Preferably have a qualification in supervisory management / leadership.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
