The role
As a Ground Crew Training Instructor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Providing specialised instruction to Phase 2 and above military and civilian candidates on the specialised fuel delivery vehicles to be used in the next part of their military careers.
Day to day, you’ll maintain a level of knowledge on the military refuel vehicles and their operation, as well as:
- Maintain currency with identified core and specialised training requirements.
- Develop training lessons and practical training methods.
- Be the 1st line for maintenance and fleet management of military refuel vehicles provided to the section to support training.
- Associated paperwork and reports capturing student progress and issues.
- The ability to work within small teams and with minimal supervision.
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly Fuel Accounts
This role is full time and based on site at our Middle Wallop location.
Essential experience of the Ground Crew Training Instructor
- Extensive training experience
- Strong level communications skills both verbal and written.
- Credible at developing lesson plans and delivery of instruction on specialised equipment to a mixed age range scale.
- A history of office and external working environments
- Strong IT skills
Qualifications for the Ground Crew Training Instructor
- C+E driving licence is essential.
- ADR or Hazmat preferred.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve the minimum of a SC security clearance for this role.
