The role
As an Air Safety Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Ensuring the safety of all the structures and processes of the aerodrome in a safety focused environment.
Day to day, you’ll act as an occurrence manager for Aviation safety reports, as well as:
- Lead aviation safety focussed meetings and discussions.
- Work closely within the customer’s Air Safety Management Plan to ensure and assure aviation Safe Operating Environment.
- Assist with the development of existing and future air safety management planning.
- Safety assurance of activity conducted on the aerodrome.
This role is full time and based onsite at Middle Wallop.
Essential experience of the Air Safety Manager:
- Aviation environment experience
- Understanding of safety management systems
- Strong communication skills - evidenced is previous roles.
- Quality Management with report writing and investigation experience.
- Experience of reading, understanding, and implementing regulatory information
Qualifications for the Air Safety Manager:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve the minimum of a SC security clearance for this role.
