The role
As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll support the Procurement activities within our Submarine Dismantling Project (SDP). You'll be responsible for the execution of the requisition to pay process within a defined scope and aligned with requisitioner delegation of authority, focusing on; the execution of established supply agreements; requisition to order conversion, order book management, expediting and payment.

This is a full-time / permanent role at 37 hours per week and is based at our Rosyth, Fife site following a hybrid working arrangement of x2-3 days per week with the remaining to be completed from home.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met.
