The role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you’ll work as part of a successful team undertaking and delivering audits for Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Day to day, you’ll plan, deliver, undertake and report on audits. You’ll also be involved in delivering training within the business on audit and quality.
- Design and implement independent assurance activities for the business
- Undertake and lead internal audits and participate in and facilitate improvement initiatives
- Review findings of audits and report to the organisation on levels of compliance recommending corrective action as appropriate
- Interpret and communicate any changes to standard that could affect the Business Management System
- Liaise and assist with certification bodies and customer representatives during external audits
This role is full time - 36 hours and will be based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard 2 days per week with hybrid working from home arrangements.
Essential experience of the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer:
- Extensive knowledge and ability to apply standards of ISO9001, ISO14001 and/or ISO45001.
- Knowledge and experience in CAPA, Root cause investigation and verification. Experienced Auditor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications for the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer:
