The role
As a Stores Keeper - Clothing Stores you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Delivering the expected standards of the equivalent RAF Supply function.
Day to day, you’ll make sure that the procedures for demanding, receiving, storing and issuing of clothing and accoutrements are maintained in accordance with ALI 39 & JSP 440 and other current MOD instructions, as well as:
- Ensure initial kitting packs of Clothing and accoutrements are prepared to meet the training sponsors (RAFOTA) requirements in accordance of the C scale on A4 Commodities website.
- De-kit to meet programmed requirements.
- Stock Establishments are maintained and stored in accordance with current regulations.
- Conduct stock spot checks, ensure the Clothing Team Leader is made aware of clothing and accoutrement deficiencies.
- Full compliance with orders from Public Accounts when collecting payments for clothing via JPA or Chip and Pin payment methods utilising Sub Form 664D.
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Cranwell.
Essential experience of the Stores Keeper - Clothing Stores:
- Previous experience in Supply Chain/Logistics in a military or civilian environment.
- Experience with logistics-based computer systems.
- Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.
- Clean driving license.
Qualifications for the Stores Keeper - Clothing Stores:
