The role
As a Head of Systems and Assurance, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be responsible for the Land sector Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) strategy and plan to meet the requirements of the Global Building Management Systems (BMS) programme for a common health, safety, environmental and quality management system and for the development and execution of a sector level HSEQ assurance programme.
Day to day, you’ll collaborate with the Group Health Safety and Environment lead and the Group Quality Lead on the Global BMS programme to ensure common/similar/unique standards and processes are identified.
- Ensuring that ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 accreditations are consolidated where possible and that business units and contracts retain accreditation during the transition
- Liaise with Group ISO auditors to plan and agree a suitable sector audit programme for ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 standards
- Implementing and maintaining the appropriate sector level HSEQ management systems in line with ISO standards 45001, 14001 and 9001
- Ensuring a risk-based desktop and physical audit assurance plan is established and executed in line with ISO standards and that any risks or non-conformances have a suitable action plan
This role is full time and will be based at Portsmouth on site with hybrid working from home arrangements
Essential experience of the Head of Systems and Assurance - Land Sector:
- Experience in establishing, implementing, managing, and continually improving HSEQ management systems
- Experience working on both quality and HSE management systems and processes
Qualifications for the Head of Systems and Assurance - Land Sector:
- ISO Auditor Qualifications
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
