The role
As a Range Warden (General Site Operative) you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The Range Warden is responsible to the Hades Small arms/explosives supervisor for providing support for the station 25 metre range. You are responsible for the issue, receipt, storage, and After-use of consumables associated with the 25 Metre range, also in assisting the armoury when required.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for the general upkeep of the range and also general issue, receipt and storage of consumables, as well as:
• Managing the range booking diary
• General maintenance of range fabric, targets and equipment
• Ensuring firing point is kept free of hazards
• Ensuring the range is presented in good order
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Halton.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
