The role
As a CAD Support you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary, You will be Providing CAD support to our survey team in Hinkley Point.
Day to day, you’ll prepare the documentation required to support the survey team delivering their scope, Provide interpretation of coordinates from the NNB supplied drawings and converting them to the correct data format for the survey team to use.
• Liaise with the EPM team and execution designers regarding the access to CAD and model files for the scope.
• To support the creation of the MEH JV survey drawings to aid the survey team to deliver their scope.
• Regular liaison with the building teams to ensure the drawings passed from Building Team to the Survey Team are fit for use
• To liaise with the site construction teams regarding the development of red line drawings post as installed survey.
Essential experience of the CAD Support
• Proficient Experience in AutoCAD/ BIM, 3D coordination
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient use of IT and MS Office software.
• Good working knowledge of data management and data security.
• Experience of Navisworks is desirable
• MEP Background desirable
The role is based on site at Hinkley Point C and is a 9 day fortnight, 37 hours per week.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
