Scope and Purpose
The purpose of the risk management system is to properly identify (specifying relevant factors), measure, monitor and control risks inherent in the Branch’s portfolio. Risk policies, implementation procedures and limits are defined to monitor, keep under control and, where necessary, mitigate risks. Main activities carried out to achieve these goals are:
- To monitor and reporting the branch risk metrics and limits defined within local risk appetite framework
- To define adequate policies, implementation procedures, and limits, to enable the management of the different aspects of risks arising from the activities of the Branch
- To ensure that risk management activities are carried out properly and consistently with procedures and principles specified in regulation
Required Experience
1-2 years of experience in risk management in a financial institution as a risk manager/analyst preferably
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/risk management
- Fluent English, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge and understanding of:
- Risk management methodologies
- Banking and financial services products and processes
- Applicable legislation and regulations
- Strong Excel knowledge and VBA (nice to have some macro SQL and SAS skills)

Experience and knowledge of Basel banking regulation and good understanding of the risk factors defined under this regulation as well as of required risk methodologies and systems
