The opportunity
As our Supplier Development Technician, your role will be to support supplier development activities and the production of related supplier performance management information. To improve supplier capability for safety, quality and time imperatives by continuous improvement activity.
This role is based out of our Gloucester office, and will be working to a hybrid model of both office and home based working with some travel around the fleet required.

We can offer a competitive salary from £32,127 - £37,169 and you’ll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Nuclear Generation Company Agreement based on your demonstration of competences, experience, and qualifications. What you’ll be doing
The key duties the successful candidate will be required to carry out will include but are not limited to:
Who you are
For this role, you will have a minimum of a Level 4 NVQ or equivalent in a relevant technical subject. A HNC or degree would be advantageous, but not essential.
You will have experience in supplier quality, procurement, or manufacturing engineering with an understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
You’ll possess knowledge of statistical analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques and excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
You will be detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities, proficient in Microsoft Office and have the willingness to travel to supplier and EDF locations as needed (up to 25%).
Ideally you will have experience in a regulated industry.
