The Opportunity
As a Project Manager, you’ll lead and manage the full lifecycle of key Projects working in partnership with our key internal and external stakeholders. The scope of the Projects you’ll engage with support the delivery of new capabilities, realise business level benefits and meet the requirements of the Decommissioning Plan Submissions.
Pay, benefits and culture
We can offer a competitive salary from £40,069 - £84,892 and you’ll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Nuclear Generation Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.

What you’ll be doing
As part of your role in successful leading and managing key projects and stakeholder relationships you’ll:
Who you are
You’ll hold a HNC or equivalent in an Engineering or relevant discipline. It would be advantageous if you also hold a relevant certification, for example APMQ.
Familiar with HSE and CDM legislation, able to demonstrate experience of managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ideally across a range of complex multi-discipline projects and environments.
You’ll also be proficient in the use of estimating, scheduling, programming, risk tools and the use of Earned Value Analysis.
Management of an integrated project team including staff, agency, contract and assigned functional support with evidence of working within environments with high quality and safety standards & culture.
Ideally, you’ll demonstrate success in managing and developing:
a. Engineering design, safety case, contract, and field execution strategies for project delivery.
b. Large multi-discipline projects.
c. Large complex multi-discipline contracts and the tender review process.
d. Control of costs and change.
e. Close out of commercial claims and the associated negotiations.
f. Front end design and development of solutions.
g. The design / construction interface to ensure a smooth transition / handover and how to address the issues which occur at this interface
