The Opportunity
EDF Wholesale Market Services (WMS) is a core business line within the EDF UK Customers Business that is at the centre of helping Britain achieve Net Zero. It provides industry leading wholesale market services to EDF’s supply and generation business units and to third party energy asset owners. The team operates in a broad and diverse range of market segments including residential & business supply, nuclear, renewable & thermal generation and storage & flexible energy.
We are looking for a talented Reporting Lead to provide the data, insight and narrative to monitor operational and financial performance across all areas of the Wholesale Market Services activity.

What you’ll be doing
As the Reporting Lead, you will manage a small team of analysts (2 or 3) and take responsibility for producing consolidated reporting that is insightful, on time and drives business decisions using the latest tools. You will provide the data and insight to ensure the operational and financial performance is monitored for WMS.
Working collaboratively with all areas of WMS and their stakeholders, you will collect data and ensure it is of the highest quality to be consistently used for all Executive meetings. You will interpret the key performance headlines and establish a concise narrative to present within WMS and Executive meetings.
You will develop a detailed understanding of WMS activities and performance, ensuring a consistent and coherent story is presented on a regular an ongoing basis.
Who you are
We are looking for somebody with the technical ability to accurately understand, build and present data to track performance and influence business decisions. Experience of using Excel, Tableau and other reporting tools is essential for this role.
You will have experience of reporting and presenting data to senior stakeholders across a variety of subjects. Working closely with stakeholders of all levels, you will demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships and adapt your communication style across different audiences ensuring concise delivery of complex information.
Additionally, strong analytical skills and commercial acumen are essential for aligning technical solutions with our business objectives and decisions.
