Enterprise Product Owner (Software & Hardware Asset Management)

 

Ready to lead and drive innovation within the Energy and Utilities sector? We're seeking an enthusiastic Enterprise Product Owner for Software & Hardware Asset Management to join our dynamic team at EDF UK.

 

The Opportunity…

 

The Software & Hardware Asset Management products centralise licence compliance and hardware product data for the estate to allow the management, compliance and optimisation of our IT assets throughout their lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Own the roadmap and ensure successful delivery of features and capabilities for a set of crucial products contributing to Britain's Net Zero goal.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Security Leads, Service Leads, System Architects, and Senior Scrum Masters, fostering alignment and synergy.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of security policies, standards, and processes while ensuring compliance.
  • Build and refine product backlogs, author user stories, and prioritize team-level tasks for agile teams.
  • Coordinate communications, escalations, and risk resolution related to the product backlog.
  • Drive sprint efficiency and continuous improvement, ensuring consistent delivery of value to customers.

 

Who you are

 

  • Experience in delivering Software, Platform, or Infrastructure as-a-Service solutions in energy, utilities, or a similar sector.
  • Proven understanding of cloud and digital technologies with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Expertise in launching software or services in collaboration with engineering teams, applying Agile and SAFe principles.
  • Knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, and incorporating technology, infrastructure, and security into product design.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders.
  • Certification in Agile Product Ownership (e.g., Leading SAFe, CSPO, POPM) is desirable.
