Procurement and Contracts Specialist
We’re recruiting a Procurement and Contracts Specialist with a flexible location, to manage and develop key indirect categories for EDF within the UK.

What you’ll be doing
As Procurement and Contracts Specialist you’ll join the team responsible for procurement and supplier relationship management activities across a group of Professional Services, with particular focus on Software as a Service, data purchasing and process improvement. There will be an opportunity to tailor your portfolio according to your experience and aspirations and opportunity to be involved in management of the third party contractors.
You’ll manage and develop a variety of third-party services to support business strategies, running end to end procurement processes and work closely with stakeholders to deliver key projects. This includes ensuring that third-party entities adhere to our health, safety, environment, and quality standards.
Your role extends to guaranteeing quality delivery of goods and services within agreed costs and timeframes, managing risks through effective contracts, and cultivating professional relationships with key suppliers and contractors to mitigate potential challenges.
Who you are
You will have experience in reviewing and negotiating with contractual terms, ideally in software space, or a willingness to develop your existing procurement knowledge in these areas.
You will have some experience in end- to-end procurement processes and in particular desire to develop skills in areas of development and delivery of sourcing and category strategies, and implementing contractual arrangements.
This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment whilst staying organised, enjoys exploring different approaches and thinking on their feet. You’ll also have excellent communication, stakeholder and supplier management skills.
