The Opportunity
As a Data and Insight Manager, you will be responsible for defining the data strategy, approach and operational plan for the EDF Business Solutions (EBS) Collections area. You’ll be developing and creating the data excellence model focused on improving data processing, data quality and developing new data related services to customers.
The role sits within EBS Collections leadership team with full accountability for the Data Excellence team, activity and associated systems, reporting and analysis.

What you’ll be doing
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering the 2024 and onwards Collections plan/roadmap, working with other areas of collections and EBS ensuring all activities are delivered by each year end. All KPI and lead performance indicator target setting, reporting, analytics, data insight, compliance will form part of this role. Moving the department to a more data driven decision making place and ensuring we accurately forecast all our debt and collections in pivotal in this role.
You’ll be engaging with senior stakeholders, escalating where necessary and presenting clear and concise information. Supporting the other areas of collections will be a key activity ensuring all our teams are working effectively and efficiently.
Looking at continuously improving the department by taking data led decisions, you will ensure we are focusing on the right customers at the right time. It is key that we challenge the way we do things and consider automating as much of our reporting as possible so we can provide insight on our customer base, including designing and maintaining customer propensity models that dictate the customer journey we follow and CX we serve.
