The Opportunity
As Senior Compliance Analyst in Mid-Market, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our business unit adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing our industry. This role involves developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting checks and assessments, and providing guidance to Mid-Market teams on compliance-related matters.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll collaborate with the EDF and EBS Compliance team to ensure everyone’s updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact Mid Market’s operations. You’ll own the Mid-Market position on how we would like topics relevant for our markets to evolve and you’ll coordinate the views from experts and relevant teams.
You’ll be responsible for Mid-Market’s involvement in and response to specific changes in technical and commercial market arrangements because of strategic, political, or regulatory requirements. You’ll participate and coordinate actively in consulting rounds from different policy makers and will lead on the implementation on new compliance topics for Mid-Market.
You’ll also investigate any potential compliance violations and take appropriate corrective actions and collaborate with other departments to address compliance issues and develop solutions.
A key part of the role is building and managing internal relationships to ensure all associated issues are well communicated in a timely manner within Mid-Market You’ll also be required to represent EBS at key internal forums. You’ll use industry knowledge to contribute to relevant communications and discussion of regulatory and market issues. When required, you’ll also organise specific projects by coordinating work of multiple teams to ensure a successful outcome is achieved.

Being a Senior Compliance Analyst at EDF means having a thorough understanding of the energy industry and experience in the commercial and regulatory environment.
You’ll have experience operating in a similar role at this level and a track record of delivering successful business change.
We’re looking for someone able to communicate complex ideas effectively to a wide range of senior stakeholders, actively engaging leaders to impact decision making.
