What is the Technical and Safety Industrial Placement Opportunity at Heysham Power Station?
We’re recruiting for students to join us in the Quality Management Group at our Heysham site. In this group you would have the opportunity to get involved in industrial and fire safety as well as understand and support our emergency arrangements.
This fantastic opportunity can help provide you to build experience within nuclear operations whilst making a tangible contribution to the productivity and performance of nuclear within the UK.

Training, development and support for you:
Over this 12-month programme, most of what you learn will be on the job, with support from your mentor and the teams you work in. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your academic training to genuine problems that are faced in the energy industry.

Where you’ll work:
You will be based at Heysham Nuclear Power station in Lancashire and you will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with other departments, allowing you to get a comprehensive picture of how a nuclear power station is run.
