Job Descrption
Pandora’s US Distribution Center is looking to hire a Shipping Assistant! This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our product is packed and shipped to customers by using different platforms to verify shipping and customs information. This team also accepts and inspects deliveries from both customers and vendors. This position opening is for the 8:00am – 5:30pm shift.
What you will be responsible for:
- Ship Packages with UPS and FedEx
- Verify packages are shipped correctly
- Pack orders to ensure shipment can be delivered without compromising the contents of the package
- Distribute mail/packages internally to appropriate recipients
- Provide status of shipments/research shipments and provide updates as requested
- Receive delivery of products and supplies into the warehouse
- Perform other functions and assist other departments as needed
A bit about you :
- Vocational/Technical degree
- 1-3 years’ relevant experience in a shipping department function
- Experience with UPS World Ship is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Suite applications is a plus
- Strong sense of initiative
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Attention to detail
- Reliability & enthusiasm are a must
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Must be able to lift 25+ lbs
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Must be professional, personable, computer-literate, self-motivated and flexible
