What to expect from the role
Support and coach managers in performance and absence management.
Manage collection and provision of audit work e.g. right to work.
Support on data mining of engagement survey results.
Work with HRBPs on ad-hoc projects such as manager inductions.
Support delivery of training to managers on absence management, performance management etc.
Advise and guide managers on people related topics such as flexible working, maternity leave and all company policies.
Work closely with the ER manager in managing investigations, grievances, and disciplinaries.
Data Subject Access Request co-ordination.
Manage ER queries in the HR Inbox.
What we are looking for
Experience managing ER cases in a fast-paced environment
Retail background
Knowledge of employment law and terms of employment legislation
Ability to coach individuals and influence
CIPD Qualified 5 and/or 7 – desirable
A natural presenter who is comfortable facilitating workshops and meetings
A team player who is seen as approachable and a positive role model
Able to build positive and strong relationships with a reputation for integrity and achieving results
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptionally well organised and efficient
Commercially savvy, preferably with a strong understanding of retail
Pro-active and able to show initiative with a positive and challenging style
Approachable, warm, empathetic and creative yet pragmatic
