FILM & SMART SURFACE SOLUTIONS (F&SSS)
Film & Smart Surface Solutions (F&SSS) is currently active in more than 50 countries. Our main production location is in the UK and our R&D and Technical centres are in the Americas, Asia and Europe.
Our target for the F&SSS division is to become the market leader in the in-mold electronics space for the automotive industry. This division combines our extensive offering of speciality films for the industrial and automotive industries with our developing flexible and formable conductive and non-conductive inks. The combination of these products enables our customers to create formed, structurally rigid three-dimensional automotive controls and displays that are at the forefront of modern cockpit aesthetics and functionality.
Job Purpose
We are looking for a Product Data Manager and Planning Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to join our Planning Team. This role is a fixed term contact for up to one year.
Salary: Up to £32k
- To ensure no customer order delays due to labelling issues.
- Support the implementation of updated SDS system and labelling processes.
- To ensure Manufacturing orders are monitored and issues highlighted.
- To ensure company planning processes are followed and records kept up to date.
- Provide support to Mixing and Conversion planners.
- Provide support to the Purchasing and Planning teams as and when required.
Job Responsibilities
- To provide SAP and data management support to the Planning team.
- Review Material master data for accuracy, consistency and recommend where data changes are required by analysing stock and usage.
- Produce reports on stock and material status and action the obsoletions and disposal requests from the Supply Chain Manager.
- Support all labelling activities in the Wantage production areas.
- Understand and ensure compliance with classification, labelling and packaging of chemicals (CLP).
- Ensure hazard information on safety data sheets (SDS) is applied to Labels.
- Update various databases as required, in particular item records and BoMs in SAP and the Raw Material database.
- Raise and schedule manufacturing orders.
- Maintain and update shift pattern data.
Skills
- Computer literate
- Experience with Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, SAP and labelling software
- Good written and verbal communication
- Must be able to work diligently and accurately
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload
