GXO are currently looking for a HR Advisor to join us at our ASOS site in Doncaster. You will provide timely, effective, and comprehensive support to line managers in all aspects of Human Resources and act as a strong 'number two' to the site HR Manager.
This is a full time, permanent role working Monday - Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 with a degree of flexibility to meet the needs of the operation.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Support the HR Manager in the delivery of the immediate and long-term objectives of the site and to develop and deliver the People Plan
Develop and upskill the HR Team in line with our values, to ensure we provide timely, effective, and comprehensive support to line managers and stakeholders
Effectively manage complex Employee Relations (ER)and Policy issues, as well as proactively reviewing ER trends
Work in partnership with the HR Team and identify ER solutions that will continuously improve the management of ER challenges across the business
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar senior HR Advisor / generalist role, ideally within a unionised environment
A strong understanding and application of employment law, with experience of managing medium-high risk ER cases to conclusion
Excellent knowledge of HR policy, best practice, employee relations and change management approaches
Experience in engaging large groups of people and getting involved in engagement campaigns, with the ability to draw together and analyse different arguments
