We’re looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join us at our ASOS site in Barnsley working Tuesday – Saturday hours 13:30 – 22:00. You’ll lead the Operations team to deliver a first-class customer service.

We’re looking to offer a salary up to £54,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 264 hours annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Management and coaching of your direct reports and an indirect team of up to 700 staff in peak
Be responsible for ensuring team exceed KPIs and performance set by the customer, as well as driving improvement plans for further growth and capability
Drive health and safety and a continuous improvement culture throughout the site and ensure that your team is working in a compliant and safe manner
Ensure that through the effective control of resources all operational deadlines and standards within area of responsibility are met
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A proven track record of managing a large team in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ideally within eCommerce with automation experience
The ability to coach, lead and develop a large, diverse team through a professional manner with a can-do attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
General confidence in the use of IT/Microsoft Office and WMS systems
