We are looking for an Inventory Team Manager to join our flagship M&S site in Bradford. You’ll be responsible for managing our customers stock to an agreed accuracy figure and leading your team to achieve business goals: through focussing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.         

 

This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working a two-week rotating shift pattern of 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00, Monday to Friday.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £37,000 per annum, you’ll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse in your area, whilst leading, motivating and developing your team to achieve challenging targets
  • You’ll be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy and integrity in line with contractual requirements, minimising stock loss
  • You’ll ensure resource planning is effectively carried out to optimise resource and efficiencies
  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders to fully understand our customer and company requirements, incorporating them into all planning and reporting tools, activities and projects

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • A proven track record at team leader or first line manager level, within a fast-paced warehouse environment with a specific focus on stock and inventory
  • The ability to investigate and report findings, engaging with all levels within the site
  • The ability to effectively lead, develop and manage a team, whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success
