Here at GXO we are currently recruiting for a Business Solutions Manager to join our central IT team based in Northampton. As a Business Solutions Analyst you will engage with new and existing customers and operational stakeholders to establish; IT, Business, and Operational requirements, managing and supporting the Initial IT solution design and commercial proposal for new business, contract renewals, and continuous improvements.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00. However, flexibility will be required when needed to travel to sites.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead, facilitate, and represent IT in the conversation with business colleagues and customers to define IT scope and requirements for new business, renewals, continuous improvement, and strategic projects across all business units.
- Ability to quickly ascertain, understand and evaluate requirements to design an IT solution and commercial proposal that fully supports and adds value to GXO’s overall proposition
- Work with internal and external SMEs, where required to ensure the IT solution is aligned with business, commercial and strategic requirements
- Own and manage IT information requests, including direct customer engagement, customer bespoke material, and detailed written Q&A
- Present final IT solution proposal to internal and external stakeholders
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience with warehousing and logistics IT systems landscapes, primarily WMS, and familiarity with associated hardware, and technologies
- IT solution design and creative problem-solving experience in an IT or operational environment
- Excellent communications/interpersonal skills
- Able to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, providing consultancy as appropriate to ensure confidence in the proposed IT and business solutions
- Strong presentation skills and high standards in the production of written documentation
- Diligent mindset with attention to detail
