Inventory Team Leader at GXO Logistics

Here at GXO, we're looking for a skilled Inventory Team Leader to join our team. Dedicated to the M&S Clothing & Home operation at Bradford, you’ll support your team manager with the day to day running of warehouse shifts, by supporting, motivating and developing a team to achieve challenging efficiency targets.

 

This is a full time, permanent role, where you’ll work on an any 5 from 7 shift pattern, typically Sunday to Thursday. The working hours will rotate weekly between 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £26,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Installing a strong work ethic in your team, you’ll also monitor morale, identifying ways to ensure you are promoting our approach to employment engagement
  • With good understanding of Health & Safety you’ll ensure operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings
  • A strong communicator you’ll develop trusting relationships with your team and other team leaders
  • You’ll also have a flexible approach to leadership that allows you to effectively organise and prioritise urgent and critical tasks

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • A proven track record within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a specific focus on stock and inventory
  • You’ll be equipped to motivate your team, taking a key role in creating a positive, productive and rewarding work environment
  • A skilful planner and natural problem solver, you’ll be able to monitor performance against business standards, support resource and costs, enable your team to meet challenging performance targets and communicate effectively across all levels
  • A good organiser with the ability to efficiently manage varied workloads, you’ll use your initiative to analyse and resolve any issues within your department
