Here at GXO, we are looking for an FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis) to join our dynamic team based in our head office in Northampton. You will have a key role within the financial planning and analysis team by completing many financial and operational support activities. You will be working with other departments to compute and analyse complex data and assist in preparing monthly presentations to senior executives. You will play an integral part in the organisation by providing advice and influence on critical business decisions.

 

You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, 4 days a week in the office and Friday working from home.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Reconciling financial data and compiling commercial commentary to produce financial and operational reporting packs that assist senior management in understanding the key drivers of business performance
  • Assisting in building budgets and forecasts for various business divisions along with the production of variance analysis and highlighting areas for revenue opportunities and cost improvements
  • Working on corporate projects and initiatives to drive improved business performance
  • Liaising and building relationships with financial and non-financial colleagues to prepare and deliver financial and strategic plans for the business
  • Improving departmental performance by evaluating processes to drive greater efficiencies

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • ACCA / CIMA part-qualified and we will support further study
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel (Formulas) and PowerPoint
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
