Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting at GXO Logistics

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced senior Financial Analyst with proficiency in US GAAP, financial reporting, data analysis and SOX compliance. You will be part of the consolidation and financial reporting team who are responsible for the monthly consolidation of GXO’s subsidiaries and reporting accurate financial result to the senior leadership team.Based at either our Northampton or London offices we offer a hybrid working arrangement with the requirement to attend the office as and when required.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • You will be part of a team responsible for the preparation of US GAAP consolidated monthly and quarterly financial statements including P&L, balance sheet and statement of cash flows
  • Support the preparation of consolidated European regional results and the European statutory financial statements under UK GAAP
  • Support the internal and external audit processes
  • Perform financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborate with other departments including Tax, Treasury, FP&A and IT to support month end deliverables
  • Support controllership and FPA in the use of the financial reporting systems, such as HFM
  • Complete and maintain process documentation to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for areas of responsibility

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA qualified
  • Significant financial reporting background and IFRS compliant
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong aptitude for understanding and analysing large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Strong Fluency user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
