We’re looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Iceland Foods team at our busy temperature-controlled site in Livingston. You will be responsible for ensuring and driving efficient operational performance, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site management team.
This is a full-time, permanent position working any 5 from 7 on a rotating shift pattern of; 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00 and 22:00 – 06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead a team of colleagues to operational success in our temperature-controlled warehouse
- Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met and exceeded
- Maximise productivity and improve quality in order to grow your team
- Lead HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance and absence management
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a grocery operation)
- The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
