Here in Barnsley, we’re seeking a Facilities Operative to join our team, collaborating with our customer, ASOS. You’ll provide a multi-skilled service, undertaking various tasks to meet legislative, company, site, and exacting standards.
You’ll be working on the shift pattern of ‘any 5 out of 7’.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £24,000 per annum, and 264 hours annual leave (inclusive bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Manage the department’s documentation registers, audits, alterations, and locations through Digital management system (DMS)
Support the GXO audit process of documentation, using a clear process of packs to provide accurate details of up-to-date information
Always ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation e.g., to have due regard for HASAWA, COSHH and Electricity at Work Regulations and to recommend remedial actions as necessary in these areas
Be actively involved and promote a proactive culture documenting Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA)
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous experience within facilities or maintenance
Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and heating systems
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Basic level of ability in the use of PC based applications including BMS, MMS and Excel
