Are numbers your thing? Do you have experience working as a Payroll Administrator, but are keen to expand your experience? Are you looking to develop your finance career in a globally recognised business?

 

We’re looking for a Finance & Payroll Assistant to join us at our expanding contract TJX based in Crewe. Supporting the external finance function in providing a complete Payroll Service to the site, preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports and assist in the month-end accounting process.  Responding to queries and delivering proactive support in maintaining the supply and delivery of consumables to the site and controlling the Purchase Order process for the site.     You will need to have excellent attention to detail and advanced excel skills.

 

Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis, you’ll be working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, between 08:00 to 16:30.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Support with month end processes in line with company standards
  • Deliver weekly reports in a timely, accurate manner whilst demonstrating the ability to explain any variances through analysis
  • Issue and control of Purchase Orders, alongside Collating, analysing and preparing relevant reports for the Finance Function as requested.
  • Run monthly payroll and do adequate checks before submitting for approval, ensuring payroll records are accurate and processed in line with company standards

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous experience working in Finance, and previous experience of Payroll
  • Ability to analyse, investigate and problem-solve numerical information
  • A pro-active, organised, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
