Here at GXO Logistics we are currently looking for Yard Operatives to join our energetic team in City Plumbing Supplies based in Warrington, on a full time, permanent contract. You will be working on Monday – Friday, covering the night shift pattern, with the working hours of 22:00 – 06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Controlling workload by appropriately assigning skillsets to areas to maximise efficiencies
- Establish effective communication between departments
- Escalating and feedback H&S issues to relevant teams and Line Managers
- Operate compactor and baler machines to a safe standard
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Ability to follow safe working instructions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions to support the operation, to meet the requirements of the shift and deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience within a recycling/yard departments preferable, but not essential
