Here at GXO Logistics, we’re recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Peterborough.
You’ll provide our customers with an efficient service by working to resolve any queries they might have. You’ll complete all administrative tasks, answer customer queries, and ensure all enquiries are resolved within agreed timeframes. The successful candidate is expected to maintain positive working relations with both client and site operational and management teams.
Joining us on a permanent, full-time basis, you will be working Monday – Friday role working standard office hours, but we do require a level of flexibility - this is logistics after all!

We’re looking to offer a salary of £23,000 per annum and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Answer customer queries with accuracy and in a timely manner over the phone and via email
Liaise with carriers for booking in of inbound goods, and despatch via Nominated Carriers, within agreed operational windows.
Liaise closely with the operations teams to fulfil customer requests
Collate and produce reports and KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous experience working within a customer service team
Experience of dealing with transport networks
Previous administrative experience/report production
Confident and highly motivated with an excellent teamwork ethic
Good English verbal and written communication
