Our ASOS site which is based in Doncaster is looking for an IT Systems Officer to join the team. You’ll work within the Systems team, alongside Operations, Inventory, and off-site I.T service providers to support asos.com in delivering parcels to its customers. Travelling via public transport? No problem! There is a bus stop right outside of site which is accessible from Doncaster town centre. We also have a secure and managed free car park available to staff.
This is a full-time permanent role, there are various rotating shift patterns available.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
To ensure that the systems (hardware & software) are running smoothly and any issues with the systems are resolved in the quickest time possible
Provide first-line support for IT hardware, software, network, and operating system issues
Ensure environmental and health and safety requirements are met through compliance with H&S policies and procedures
Deliver timely and excellent customer service/ end-user experience
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Strong IT knowledge and capability, gained in a warehouse or help desk environment would be an advantage
The ability to work individually and be able to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
Need to be a problem solver, able to analyse the issue, look for the potential ramifications, and how to resolve it most effectively
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
