Here at GXO Logistics, we’re currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join us on a full-time basis at our state-of-the-art site in Northampton to Support the leadership team in driving operational excellence. Supporting our Toolstation contact, you will be accountable for managing the finance function for the customer’s distribution center based in Northampton, ensuring the customer operation runs efficiently and effectively whilst building long-lasting and effective business relationships..
This is a permanent role working Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00, however some flexibility may be required.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Continuous review and improvement of all processes to meet operational and financial requirements
Preparation of Forecast and Budgets, ad hoc variance analysis and integrity of invoicing and P&L entries
Production of both financial and operational management reporting as required for the site, business, and customer. To include P&L statements and Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accruals and prepayments are justified and are in line with the Accounting Standards
Effective control of the finance function - recruit, train, and coach members of the team
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally with exposure to an open book contract environment
Experience in finding cost efficiencies and potential savings
Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers
Fully CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant
