Here at GXO, we are currently on the search for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our River Island site in Milton Keynes. As our Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for completing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, fixtures, fittings, and systems within the building to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of a full and comprehensive maintenance service to the site.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,457.60 per annum plus call out £50.00 per night when in call. In addition, we offer 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
Complete weekly PP
Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment
Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment
Obtain parts from storerooms
