GXO are currently looking for an experienced Resource Planning MI Manager to join us at our flagship M&S operation in Bradford. Dedicated to the automated clothing & home operation, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the site has sufficient resource and associated capacity to meet the forecasted demand.   

 

This is a full time, permanent role. The working hours are Monday to Friday 37.5 per week, with some flexibility on start time between 07:00 and 09:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Build an appropriate labour plan that sustains required capacity based on customer’s requirements, whilst understanding problems, initiating long term structured improvement projects and ensuring their timely delivery
  • You’ll produce management information that enables stakeholders to provide actionable insight, driving strategic and operational decisions
  • Lead the resource planning function in a professional, open, firm yet positive manner displaying consistency, honesty and integrity at all times
  • You’ll be involved in monthly forecast reviews with site management and the customer

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • You’ll have experience in demand, capacity, and resource planning, preferably in third party logistics or a similar environment 
  • You’ll need confident communication skills as you’ll be liaising with multiple functions across the business, such as operations, finance and HR, senior management and our customer
  • You’ll need to work well on your own initiative, taking responsibility for processes and your workload, as well as that of your team
  • Managing change and changing priorities will not phase you – this is logistics after all!
