Senior Marine Consultant
Bureau Veritas is actively seeking a Senior Marine Consultant to join Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore Ltd. (BVS) a Bureau Veritas Group Company.
Established in 2010, BVS has a large offshore operator and marine contractor client base. BVS provides high quality services in Dynamic Positioning Assurance & Consulting, Engineering Assurance & Consulting, Marine Warranty, Marine Assurance & Consulting and Project Assurance & Consulting. In 2016, BVS was acquired by Bureau Veritas, reaffirming our company’s ambition to strengthen our North Sea presence and to offer a wider service portfolio to the market.
Joining our Marine Warranty and Marine Projects team, this role will deliver marine warranty and consultancy services, acting as a technical expert as a marine warranty surveyor as part of a project specific role, preparing quotations and proposals, undertaking MWS suitability surveys and document reviews and preparing technical documentation. As a Marine Warranty Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and reliability of complex marine operations, providing expert assessments and certifications that inspire confidence and trust in critical marine warranty and maritime projects. The role is suited for an experienced candidate, however the candidate would be trained on the job, before eventually transitioning to a more Client focused role having completed a suitable number of workscopes. This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate candidate who is looking to join a fast-growing global organisation. The selected candidate, alongside the administrative role, will be offered the opportunity to develop new skills and be formally trained.
Outside the marine warranty role, the candidate would be expected to undertake Marine & DP consultancy services and attendances, acting as a technical expert as a consultant in an ad-hoc capacity or as part of a project specific role, preparing quotations and proposals, undertaking marine assurance surveys and document reviews and site attendance.
