Credit Controller
We are now recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our London based team in a key role supporting the financial function of our business. The successful individual will work with our operational and finance teams ensure prompt cash collection on both current and aged debts.
Based in London, most work will be London market / London Office centric but supporting and working with global accounting and credit control teams will be paramount.
Main responsibilities include:
- Improve and implement debt collections processes to maximise efficiency
- Ensuring accuracy / completeness of instructing security / party and fee / billing arrangements
- Collation of Unique Claim References (UCRs) / PO numbers
- Ensuring invoicing in compliance with relevant agreements
- Fee estimate posting and erosion / PO monitoring
- Distribution of invoices to appropriate parties
- Following up payment of invoices (current and aged)
- Develop and Maintain good relationship with clients
- Solutions driven to ensure all debtor queries are resolved efficiently and effectively
- Develop strong collaboration between Accounting department, Operations teams and Finance
- Self-starter who will take the lead in resolving all issues impacting the function to resolution
- Provide reporting of relevant KPI’s to management and Operations teams
Key Requirements:
- Good understanding of Insurance market - particularly Lloyds / syndicated markets
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Ability to develop rapport with clients
- Excellent teamwork, organisation and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
