BAM Site Solutions UK is recruiting an HR Business Partner to support the Business on a Fixed Term Contract for 5 months.
This is a full time role with mix of office, site and home hybrid working, but regular travel to be expected. A driving license is desirable.
Reporting to the HR Director for the Segment, the HR Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the delivery and implementation of the Segment People Strategy which also supports both the Divisional and Segment purpose, vision, mission and overall objectives and the business unit operating plan.
The HR Business Partner will work both strategically and operationally to provide key business partner support to the leadership team within the business unit whilst working collaboratively with the wider People team to inform, and then in turn drive delivery of key areas of focus with the Centre of Expertise (COE)s and wider People function.
To provide expertise to shape positive change, supporting the delivery of people-based solutions, as well as challenging and focusing on adaptive people practices which are aligned to the wider People strategy.

• Working collaboratively supporting the development and delivery of segment and business unit operational, strategic, plans and objectives.
• Responsible for all People Business Partnering related activities within BAM Site Solutions
• Informing and influencing the management team on people related activity and business strategy, by using coaching methods to drive a continued performance driven culture using the P&D cycle, and the development of our leaders and managers.
• Working with leaders and managers to build a culture aligned to our values and associated behaviours, which are inclusion, collaboration, sustainability, ownership and reliability.
• Continuously drive both the business and HR strategy, providing both challenge and solutions to management teams
• Working collaboratively with People Services and the CoE’s day-to-day, to deliver an effective and efficient HR service to the business, including supporting the embedding of policy, initiatives, processes and procedures.
• Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of policies, procedures and strategy. Provide regular, monthly and quarterly people reports
• Continuously drive improvements in HR strategy, providing both challenge and solutions to management teams
• Lead and act as a point of escalation in operational people related matters related to the business unit they support and employee lifecycle. Key subject matters include performance management, employee relations activities, absence management, disciplinary and grievance , TUPE and orgnisational design. Proactive use of case management tracker to record and maintain accurate records on ER cases.
• Advise managers to enable them to lead on resolving complex employee relations issues and ensure compliance and consistency, leading on constructive working relationship with trade unions, works councils, employee forums and similar bodies
• stems, policies and procedures through external market trends, insight and internal best practice.
• Assess and advise on current and future resourcing, talent requirements, annual pay and reward programmes
• Supporting senior managers with recruitment, succession, retention, early career and high potential development designed to improve diversity and business performance.
• Leading change management and associated business transformation programmes.
• Support the governance of people related policy and process
• Participate in people based project work within the segment and wider UK&I enabling services
