As a Busines Designer you will be enabling innovation and development projects to get closer to their customers. You will be involved in projects of both digital and physical nature, where the overall theme is enabling water.
This role involves conducting market research, developing learning strategies, analyzing customer feedback, facilitate ideation and solution sketching, and assessing the overall desirability and viability of proposed products or services.
What is the job about?
You will be a part of an excellence unit that builds a practice around continuous discovery, assumption and opportunity testing, as well as establishing good documentation practices that enable insights to be utilized across the organization.
In this role you will be a critical driver of helping Grundfos make informed, data-driven decisions that drive sustainable growth and innovation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct explorative market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential customer needs to inform the validation process for new business ideas.
- Idea Evaluation: Assess the viability and desirability of new business ideas by analyzing their potential market fit, customer appeal, and profitability.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with current and potential customers to gather feedback and insights on proposed products or services, ensuring a customer-centric approach to business idea validation.
- Data Analysis: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data gathered from market research and customer feedback to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, sales, marketing, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment of new business ideas with company objectives and capabilities.
- Reporting and Communication: Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and validation results to stakeholders and decision-makers, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in market research, business analysis, innovation management, or a similar role, with a proven track record of evaluating and validating business ideas.
- A strong entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating a proactive approach, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to take calculated risks.
- Proficiency in market research tools and techniques, data analysis software
- Proficiency using Figma is a plus (Able to deliver POCs and concepts for testing)
- The ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns and trends, and draw actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Workshop and facilitation skills
English written and verbal communication skills
